We are looking for individuals with experience working with children and adolescents with autism, students who are emotionally and socially challenged, students with learning disabilities, and mental health issues. You must be an appropriate role model for children and parents, and also have the ability to work closely with others and communicate effectively.

Staff must have the ability to:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential files and records

  • Have organizational and case management skills

  • Able to maintain accurate record-keeping

  • Computer literacy

Qualifications including:

  • College courses in education

  • Training or experience in social work or related fields.

  • Interest/experience in Special Education

  • Interest/experience in Physical Education is helpful.

Individual & Group Therapist

 Licensed therapist to provide individual and group therapy for children and adolescents in a private day school. Opportunity to work with a diverse population and a variety of professionals in a small close knit environment. The use of expressive therapy with this population is helpful. Special Education Teacher

Licensed teachers, recent graduates, or teachers completing certification in special education are being hired to work with special needs children with a variety of disabilities. (ED/LD, Autistic, etc.). Experience or training in working with students with Autism is a plus. Experience in teaching functional life skills and pre-vocational skills is encouraged. You must be creative, innovative and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of our students. We are looking for teachers who want to explore innovative approaches to special education. Classroom teachers are assisted by support teachers, behavioral staff and therapist who assist with classroom behavioral concerns. Group problem solving related to academic and behavioral concerns are also addressed through team meetings and administrative support.
